Planting to attract Butterflys.
Plants are the best way to attract butterflys to your garden. To do this you will need plants rich with nectar for the butterflys to feed on. For the longest butterfly 'season' you will need a variety of flowers avaliable for butterflys to feed on over the longest period available. For nectar rich plants in Spring go for Bluebells, Cuckooflower, Dandelion, Pansy or primrose. For Late Summer to Autumn why not try Chrysthanemum, Forget-me-not, or Honeysuckle and Lavender.
